All quiet in the Western front – that’s what we’re tempted to say having visited the Geneva Motor Show. We came back neither astonished nor particularly delighted but still we’d like to see some of the novelties in our garage. We really liked exquisitely crafted Porsche modifications by RUF. We certainly noticed some new proposals from McLaren, now very close to leave its Southern European competition behind its back. Then, it seems the new Bentley Continental GT, at this stage developed to the utmost perfection, must find its way to our fleet. But most of all, we are now awaiting real springtime to translate the theory seen in the motor show into actual driving.

Any day may be really fascinating, provided it is our club’s Supercar Day. We had some of them last year and there were all spectacular. When roads leading to Warsaw get crowded, we take a couple of supercar – each slightly different then the rest – and go against the current. We know the Mazovia region has little to offer as far as driving roads are concerned, but still in fine company, driving peculiar cars, a real good time is guaranteed for all.

It’s also behind the scenes that one gets to know and talk to those behind the leading car makes – people with true influence on what cars we are going to drive in years to come. Thanks to our insider contacts among manufacturers we get the backstage pass and learn at source what to expect from the car market, before such information is published. Mind you, some exhibitors’ hospitality has no limits…

This, however, it’s just a beginning. You are accompanied by the Club guide – an expert in car industry who delivers tidbits concerning new models we watch using insider knowledge, with none of generic press kit bragging. And then there is another side to trade fairs: the host town. We go for gourmet hotels and restaurants so that these days and nights are fondly remembered. This is not just about cars – we wouldn’t miss an opportunity to visit an upmarket watchmaker or a partner banking/investment house.

Bieszczady mountain region provides a treasury of Poland’s best roads for involved driving – smooth, empty, scenic. However, it’s more than pleasure than we come here for. We were the first ones in Poland to launch training in Gran Turismo technique – a smart and dynamic extra-urban driving style. We teach how to read a road and other drivers’ intents. We demonstrate how both safety and pace on route depends more on accurate, spot-on decisions than on sheer speed. This, however, as about any other skill, can only be developed by practice.

We stop for a rest in spectacular sceneries and enjoy distinctive dishes of regional cuisine. We especially recommend the GT Academy to drivers who cover long distances on a regular basis, eager to raise the safety and at the same time the efficacy levels of their trips.

Niemniej do czerpania pełni frajdy z rallycrossu wcale nie potrzeba kipiących mocą potworów. Równie wielką przyjemność sprawią słabsze, ale lekkie jak piórko rajdówki z napędem na jedną oś, uczące dyscypliny jazdy i wykorzystywania stu procent możliwości maszyny. W świat rallycrossu wprowadza nas postać wybitna, mistrz Polski i vice mistrz Europy w tej dyscyplinie.

You are hardly ever going to sense real pleasure driving a supercar as long as you’re lacking true driving skills or plod along in frustrating city traffic. Using our club rally cars with professional sport driving instructors, we show you how to master our cars and make the most of their potential. The training is tailored to everybody’s individual needs so there are no more than five participants during a whole-day session. We work together to achieve the goal you set for your driving skills.

In training we use AWD and RWD cars so that you may practice intuitive control of drive types most frequently used on supercars. Unlike typical driving schools in the market, we don’t focus on defensive driving. Instead, we believe a skilled and confident fast driver is much safer on the road than a timed and tentative one. Each session ends with demonstrative lap with one of our instructors at the wheel – to show you there is always much left to practice before you catch up with the best.

Before you call anything the most exciting experience you ever had, wait a minute. Actually, wait until you take the co-driver’s seat in Hołek’s rally car. A blast at 120 miles an hour along a gravel road through a forest is going to redefine your notion of what is possible. And driving technique is far from the only area as you speak with Krzysztof. As a matter of fact, you are probably going to meet one of the most remarkable persons in your life.

If you fancy testing yourself at the wheel of a rally car, you’re invited to a gravel track to learn how to use power slides to good effect on that type of surface. This is about being effective – it takes ever more practice to become spectacular, too. We go there in a convoy of supercars, enjoying fine roads and stopping for fine dishes on our way to Mazury and back.

This is highly recommended. And we mean it.
