M3 has always been a car that must not be overlooked while collecting a fleet of fun cars. The F80 version set a new path, with a smaller turbocharged engine, an extra pair of doors and tremendous performance figures, much above a level of what is useful on the road. Is that bad? As usual, there are some naysayers but then again there are those who reckon this a more effective everyday car. Time goes by and things change, not always to the better, but in most cases there’s a progress to be seen and we definitely see that, having driven the new M. We recommend this car for weekend outings for two or 2+2.
