Some say this is the best ‘M’ today for true sporty driving. It harks back to glorious days when BMW M meant a direct and immediate car, lightweight and intuitive to drive. Days after getting it we took it to our Bieszczady Driving Camp. Now we agree with what they say: on a tight, twisting roads, on a demanding surface this is a reference of a sports car behaviour. We recommend it if you go deep into the unknown, seeking for driving pleasure and involved driving adventure. As you fight against the traps the road hides, the M is on your side. To a certain extent, though – it rewards you for clean and sound driving but also slaps your wrists at any signs of nonchalance or foolishness behind the wheel. That’s because – just as it used to be back in good old days – a BMW M2 demands skilful driver, not the one who stands in its way. Summing up: lots of fun just around the corner!
